RPFAAA Appoints Cameroonian-born Rose Obah Continental Coordinator

Roseline Obah is part of three distinguished Rotary Peace Fellows and peacebuilding professionals who were entrusted with advancing the Rotary Peace Fellowship Alumni Association Africa’s vision for peace, collaboration, and sustainable impact across the continent. The other two appointees in Africa are: Ajao Olusina Tunde and Clause Okwoku Obote

Rosaline Obah is a distinguished peacebuilding and strategic communications professional whose work has significantly advanced peace, development, leadership, and social transformation across Africa and internationally.

A Rotary Peace Fellow and communications expert, Rosaline has built an impressive career at the intersection of media, advocacy, conflict transformation, and leadership development. Her academic background in Peace and Conflict Transformation, Public Relations, and Journalism equips her with a unique combination of technical expertise and strategic insight.

Over the years, she has held senior communications, advocacy, and management roles across multiple organizations, leading regional and international initiatives that promote dialogue, inclusion, institutional strengthening, and sustainable peace.

Rosaline has trained thousands of journalists, youth leaders, civil society actors, and community stakeholders in peace journalism, nonviolent communication, and conflict transformation. She is also a respected mentor, trainer, author, and thought leader whose contributions continue to influence peacebuilding discourse across the continent.

Her appointment further strengthens RPFAAA’s capacity to foster collaboration, amplify impact, and expand opportunities for Rotary peacebuilders throughout Africa.

The newly appointed Coordinators expressed profound gratitude to the outgoing RPFAAA leadership team for their dedication, vision, and service to the association.

Collectively, they acknowledged the remarkable milestones achieved under the outgoing team’s stewardship, including strengthening alumni engagement, expanding networks across the continent, promoting collaboration among Rotary Peace Fellows, and elevating the visibility and influence of the association within the broader peacebuilding ecosystem.

“The foundation laid by the outgoing leadership provides a strong platform upon which we can continue building a more connected, vibrant, and impactful peacebuilding community across Africa,” the Coordinators noted.
