Revival in US as chapel service that began 2 weeks ago still going on today!

By Hans Ngala

A chapel service that began at Asbury University in Kentucky, USA on February 8 is still going on today and even attracting Christians from other parts of the world , according to Courier Journal.
According to the Journal, a chapel service at Asbury which began on February 8th, turned into a revival when a service that was scheduled to last just for a few hours turned into days and went over a week.
Christians from as far away as Singapore have reportedly traveled to join the prayer meeting while others from neighbouring Canada have equally joined, as well as Christians from other states within the US.

The revival is so strong that it has equally sparked revival on other university campuses across the United States, including Lee University in the state of Tennessee; Anderson university in the state of Indiana and Ohio Christian University.

The largest crowds reported to have joined the prayers were 3,000 people on February 14.
Asbury is an evangelical, non-denominational university with roots in the Wesleyan evangelical faith and the revival happening there is being celebrated by Christians not only in America, but across the world.

The Asbury University revival – a Christian term which means ‘spiritual awakening’ – comes at a time when the US has nearly normalized such things as abortion, homosexuality and even banning prayers from some public spaces and has been “forcing” weaker nations to adopt these practices or face sanctions. It also came just a few days after Sam Smith’s performance at the Grammy’s on February 5 in which he worshipped the devil in his “unholy” performance.
