PWD beaten, YOSA fights relegation
The Public Works Department football club, PWD of Bamenda was beaten in a 7-goal thrilling encounter, bowing for the second time in a row.
UMS of LOUM beat them 4-3 on match day 19 at the Bafoussam Omnisports stadium. The boys were 2 goals down at halftime but had 6 minutes of determination and concentration in the second half that saw them put 3 past their opponents. Leading 3 goals to 2 at 15 minutes to the end of the game, the Boys of David Pagou lost concentration and conceded two goals that crucified them. They now have no victory in their last four matches recording just 1 point.
Bamboutos FC of Mbouda on their part played a 2-2 draw with Yafoot at the Bamendzi stadium. The Mangwa boys were also two goals down before fighting 15 minutes to the end of the game to equalize.
Yong Sports Academy for their part struggled to maintain a 1 goal advantage against Panthere but could not as they were caught up at the 81st minute at the Japoma annex stadium.
PWD of Bamenda still has 24 points and is ranked 7th in group B while Bamboutos FC of Mbouda is ranked 5th with 26 points. YOSA on their Part are 10th in group A.
