Putin not quitting

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he will run for the 2024 presidential elections. The Russian “dictator” announced on Friday with no surprise because people knew it would happen.

Since February 2022, Russia has invaded Ukraine and bombarded cities and towns saying that the country’s President, Zelensky’s plan to join NATO was not a welcome idea.

Putin has ruled for four terms and will be making his fifth without major opposition because he has ruled with an iron fist, jailing dissenting voices and allegedly eliminating those who stood against his policies.

The election on March 17, 2024, will be the first since he invaded Ukraine.
