Police invade Michèlle Ndoki’s residence after CSO meeting
Police officers reportedly in civilian attire, landed at the premises of Barrister Michèlle Doki moments after a presser to announce the creation of a civil society organisation, The Nation Builders, on September 3.
Michèlle Ndoki disclosed that the law enforcement officers claimed to have come to protect her after they learned something was happening there.
The press conference at Ndoki’s private residence in Douala 5 was a means to communicate the agenda of the new organization. “Our mission… is to make sure that the will of our people is known and taken into account. That we together and concretely drive change that directly impacts the population,” she said.
The female opposition influencer said it was time to major on the commonalities of the Cameroon peoples. To conquer harassment, arbitrary arrest and detention, and other modes of repression as the election of 2025 draws closer.
