A passenger plane has crash-landed in the Somali capital Mogadishu with no casualties reported among the 30 passengers.
Photos of the incident in a video posted by Reuters showed the plane flipped over with its wheels in the air as smoke plumes from the aircraft spiraled upwards.
It belonged to Jubba Airways and was a domestic flight coming in from another city.
Airport authorities have confirmed that all passengers and crew were rescued from the wreckage and that an investigation had been launched to find out the cause of the crash which happened as the plane was landing.
Aviation accidents have become quite common over the African continent since the crash of an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing in March 2019.
A few months ago, a small fixed-wing aircraft also crashed in Yaounde, Cameroon. All those on board were reported dead.
