PCC group presidents demand the ousting of their pastor

Twelve college of group presidents of the Presbyterian Church, Bassa congregation, have unilaterally demanded the immediate and unconditional replacement of their long serving pastor Reverend Ndip Philip Nkongho.

In a letter addressed to hierachy on August 4 2022, they accuse their pastor of disrespecting the congregation and taking on the responsibilities of the project committee chairperson of the congregation.

Faced with the consistent and persistent mismanagement of funds, they ask that he be removed and that a congregational meeting be held to resolve issues without presbytery officers and the fund raising scheduled for August 14th be postponed pending the resolution of the present in-house saga.

These men and women have threatened to boycott the 2022 fund raising if their demands are not met. The situation in the Presbyterian Church Bassa congregation has been long overdue according to these church leaders who argue that Rev. Ndip has served pass his mandate.

Reverend Ndip Phillip Nkongho was made pastor of the church in 2015.
