PCC celebrates 67th year of autonomy

The Presbyterian Church in Cameroon, PCC is sixty seven. The indegenious church which gained autonomy in 1957 from the Basel Mission is staging celebrations under the theme; “Blessed Assurance”.
The mission feast day, holding Sunday November 10, 2024 home and in congregations abroad will be the last to be presided by Rt. Rev Dr. Fonki Samuel Forba, outgoing PCC Moderator.
In a traditional letter to the faithful, inspired by Psalms 124:1-6; the prelate is convinced that the church is rooted in Christ Jesus and will prevail through all circumstances.
It is in this same regard that he wishes peace, justice, and fairness as the church matches into the future. Prayers in various parishes are being made in thanksgiving to God’s faithful for the over two million member church. Through liturgical singing and other bible based activities, groups of the church are expected to compete and evangelize.
This year’s PC day comes on the eve of elections into the churches top leadership; Moderator and Synod Clerk. The exercise to hold on November 16-18 has continued to animate discussions on the media.
Activities in prelude to Sunday’s celebration started November 9. With various sporting exchanges and other human investments across congregations of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon.
