Paul Biya leaves Cameroon for Russia-Africa Summit

Less than 48 hours after his return from Geneva, President Paul Biya has again left the country to attend the 2nd Russia – Africa Summit that takes place in St Petersburg from July 26-30, 2023.

The head of state left the country on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, with his wife Chantal Biya, and a delegation comprised of the Ministers of special duties at the presidency, External Relations, Finance, Trade, Public Works, Defence, Economy and of Planning and Regional Development.

His delegation also includes the Director of the Civil Cabinet, his special adviser, the Chief of Protocol, and the Russian Ambassador to Cameroon.
