Panthere of Nde lift third Cameroon Cup trophy

Panthere Sportive of Nde are the 2025 Cameroon Cup champions after defeating title holders Colombe Sportive of the Dja and Lobo 3-1 on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
The final at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium on Sunday, December 14, marked a significant moment in Cameroon’s sporting calendar, as it closed the 2024-2025 sporting season.
Panthere began the game with an early lead through a strike by midfielder Brandon Foupa. The 22-year-old emerged Man of the Match, receiving a cash prize of two million FCFA.
The Nde side have therefore dethroned Colombe who won ftheir first cup title last year. The new champions now count three titles (1988, 2009 and 2025).
Sunday’s event was attended by several sports and state personalities. The activities were presided at by the Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Ngute, who represented the Head of State, Paul Biya.
Housing minister, Celestine Ketcha Courtes, was present to support Panthere, her hometown club, which she has supported for years.
Key actors, sports minister, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi and FECAFOOT President, Samuel Eto’o, were also present to close the season.
