Ntui gendarmes arrest 14 suspected bandits and drug traffickers

Gendarmes in Ntui, Mbam and Kim Division of the Centre region have arrested 14 men with ages between 25 and 35 following multiple cases of attacks recorded in Ntui.

The arrest of these suspects is the result of operations carried out by the Ntui gendarmes with the support of the local police.

According to testimonies from some denizens, the people arrested are perpetrators of several crimes in the area and also drug traffickers.

During operations carried out by security teams, the 14 individuals were caught in the act of consuming narcotics and a stock of Indian hemp was seized from one of them: a 20-year-old .

According to gendarmes, the latter, was selling in the habit of selling the Indian hemp to students from high schools and colleges in the town of Ntui.

The 14 suspects have been presented to the State Prosecutor and will face the wrath of the law.
