Nine killed, 37 Kidnapped in Ngalewa, Niger

Maroua, Cameroon-July 4, 2017-10:30 am Local Time (Cameroon News Agency) Nine people have been killed while 37 women and children kidnapped in the Ngalewa locality in Niger, military sources have confirmed.

CNA gathered that armed men suspected to be Boko Haram militants stormed the area Monday night of June 3, 2017, shooting anyone on their way.

There was terror in the Diffa town around the Lake Chad zone but members of the multinational joint task force succeeded to push the assailants back to their base after the locality had lost much both in human and material damages.

Four Killed in Homaka

The incident occurred few hours after another suspected Boko Haram suicide bomber killed four civilians in Homaka, Mora sub division in the far north region. The incident took place Monday evening.
