Nigeria’s Isreal Adesanya beats Jared to maintain UFC middleweight title

The UFC 276 event was the most awaited as defending Middleweight title holder, Isreal Adesanya entered the T-Mobile Arena with an Undertaker theme sound.

Throughout the fight, his opponent, Jared Cannonier kept keeping his hands to himself, giving Isreal a tough time throwing free punches.

Fans could be seen booing at Cannonier who seem not to bother about fighting back. Isreal won through a one-sided unanimous decision to retain his title.

On the night of the fight, US time, which saw close to 20,000 spectators, World Heavyweight and World Welterweight champions, Cameroonian Francis Nganu and Nigerian, Usman Kamaru, came to give Isreal their support.

Musical artist, Drake had reportedly bet 1 million dollars that Isreal would carry the day.
