These are some Prefectoral changes in the English speaking and West regions of Cameroon

Two subdivisions in the North West and three in the South West Regions of Cameroon will have new faces as Divisional Officers.

The President of the Republic in a series of presidential decrees signed on Thursday January 18, 2024 appointed Senior Divisional officers and Divisional Officers in many parts of the Country.

In the North West Region, Belo Subdivision in the Boyo Division has as new Divisional Officer in the name of Mr Akono Lounou Franck Obain who replaces Mr Ken Hilary Awa. In DONGA-MANTUNG Division, the new Divisional Officer of Nwa Subdivision is Mr Esapa Jim Esapa who replaces Anchie François Awuro.

In the South West region, Mr Dairou Sally has been appointed Divisional Officer of Bangem in Kupe-Manenguba Division in replacement of Mr Kanga Felix. Mr Ayiagnigni Njimah Mama is the new DO of Wabane in Lebialem in replacement of Mr Chi Augustine Nwhanagham. Mr Cho Zoum Leonard is the new DO of Bamusso in Ndian in replacement of Mr Walla Isaac.

The West Region on its part has thirteen subdivisions concerned with the changes.

Mr Yebga Ngos Mathieu Brice of Babadjou Subdivision in the Bamboutos, has been swapped with Mr Noah Mani Venant Fabrice in Loukoundje, in the Ocean Division in the South Region.

In Batcham subdivision, Mr Atangana Tsala Jean Pierre is the new DO meantime Mr Tabi Chu Martin Agbor takes Galim as DO.

Concerning Senior Divisional officers who are administrative authorities in control of various Divisions, Boyo and Ndonga-Mantung in the North West Region respectively have Mr Saidou Moussa and Mr Basseliken Georges Magloire Emmanuel as SDOs.

Meantime in the South West region, Mr Viang Mekala is the new SDO for Fako and Mr Awounfack Alienou is the new SDO for Manyu.

In the West, Diyem Jam Lawrence is the SDO for Upper Nkam and Mr Lanyuy Harry Ngwanyi is the new SDO for Koung-Khi and Fofie Mbouedia Christophe takes charge of the MIFI.
