New Indomitable Lions jersey unveiled ahead of Morocco AFCON

A new design for the Indomitable Lions jersey has been unveiled by the Cameroon Football Federation and kit manufacturer, FOURTEEN, in prelude to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The ceremony at the Hilton hotel in Yaounde on Friday, December 12, served as an opportunity for the parties involved to reiterate the objectives of their collaboration as the AFCON nears.

The founder and CEO of the FOURTEEN brand, Andrea Picciau, said their goal is to create jerseys that capture the attention of the fans.

“We worked for months with the president, Samuel Eto’o, to create a new idea for the Indomitable Lions jersey for the participation at the AFCON. The goal was to create a design that will capture the enthusiasm of the fans” the brand CEO said. “We worked together to create an iconic jersey” he added.

“We tried our best, we hope that the fans will be happy with our job. We did it with much patience and we hope that the fans will like the product.”

Several sports personalities were present at the unveiling ceremony, including Roger Milla, who was one of the models for the jersey presentation. “To wear this jersey is to tell our lions that the time has come. I think the moment has come for Cameroon to bring back its usual joy” Roger Milla said.

The new head coach of the Indomitable Lions, David Pagou, who was also present, said the new jerseys “inspire” victory. “I think my players will not only look fit physically, but also psychologically” he noted.

The President of the Cameroon Football Federation, Samuel Eto’o, called on all fans to buy original jerseys and avoid the fake ones. He also unveiled a limit version of the new design, indicating that only 20,000 pieces are available. The FECAFOOT President said the limited edition will only be used in the match against Ivory Coast at the AFCON. Cameroon will also play against Gabon and Mozambique in group F.
