NDU: WICUDA, Mayor say destruction of BUNS’ machines, evil, barbaric and senseless

The recent burning and destruction of machines belonging to BUNS construction company by Separatist fighters at Khife a neighborhood between Kumbo – Ndu stretch on the National number 11 road has been strongly condemned by the Wimbum Cultural and Development Association (WICUDA) and the Ndu Council.

In two separate releases on Thursday January 25, the General President of WICUDA, Rogers Nforgwei and the Mayor of Ndu in Ndonga Mantung division, Abdou Kafon Borno, both personalities condemn the atrocities which they say are regressing development projects on the Mbuland.

While the WICUDA General President in his outing called on the population especially those living in Mbumland to lift up prayers according to their different religions and traditions against evil forces of destruction in the land, Mayor Abdou urged the population to remain calm and positive in matters relating to the development of Ndu municipality.

Separatist fighters attacked a parking lot belonging to road construction company BUNS in Ndu in the early hours of Thursday January 25. Two heavy duty road equipments were burnt down to ashes while the other vehicles had their tyres, windshields and engines shattered by bullets. BUNS is working along the stretch of the Ring Road between Mbiyeh and Kumbo.
