National Assembly: Why is Cavaye Yeguie Djibril afraid of Salmana Amadou?
The national assembly president has been having sleepless nights since his party comrade, Hon. Salmana came to the limelight.
In a recent communique, the octogenarian distanced himself from activities carried out by the former, in the Central African Republic, CAR.
In a letter titled “denunciation” and addressed to the president of the CAR National Assembly, honourable Cavaye Yeguie Djibril said honourable Salmana is in the CAR carrying out political and commercial activities without the consent of Cameroon’s National Assembly,
“Salmana Amadou Ali has no mandate from the institution granting him the authorisation to carry out activities in the CAR”. part of the letter read.
Honourable Cavaye adds that his party comrade is of doubtful morality and does not have their support.
This outing of Cameroon’s National Assembly president comes after recent actions involving the CPDM parliamentarian for the Diamare Centre constituency in the Far North region of Cameroon.
In May 2022, some youths in Tokombere brandished a banner saying
“Salmana Amadou Ali National Assembly president”. Though Salmana said he did not approve of it, Cavaye is said to have been pissed off.
Hon. Salmana has been decorated with the Commander of the National Order by CAR president, Faustine Archange Touadera after the 47th edition of the Francophone Parliamentary Assembly in Kigali where he was sent by Honourable Cavaye Yeguie Djibril.
