The driver is reported to have taken particular notice of the young man who always disturbs him along the road. The said victim is not a park official, law enforcement officer nor any official concerned with public transport, CNA learned.

The incident caused a commotion at Mile 4. All clando drivers packed their cars and refused to work in solidarity with their colleague.

Drivers also told CNA this tension started four days ago. They have been asked to pay 50.000frs to the council, fuel prices have hiked and there are countless military control posts along the road. All of these they say have made work slow for them.

This is incident is just an outburst of the frustration drivers have been witnessing.
