MoMo operator killed in Tiko

A tragic incident occurred in Tiko last night when a Mobile Money operator attacked, robbed, stabbed, and dumped by the road.

Santos, the only name CNA got, was discovered early Tuesday at the bridge leading to the new layout area. The victim was a young man of fair complexion, who was a popular MoMO operator in the area.

“I did almost all my momo operations with him while I was in Tiko…Traders are robbed in Tiko every blessed day,” someone with knowledge of the incident said,

The police were immediately notified of the discovery, but those with knowledge of the incident said he must have been returning home from work.

The specific amount he had on him before being robbed is not known.
