Miss Littoral crowned Miss Cameroon 2023
The 22-year-old Ndom Issie Marie Princesse is the winner of the Miss Cameroon 2022 beauty pageant in Cameroon. She was crowned by Cameroon’s First Lady, Chantal Biya on November 12, 2022, at the Yaounde Sports Complex.
Ndom Issie Marie Princesse takes home a 4×4 vehicle, 5 million FCFA, a monthly wage, and an apartment.
The new Miss Cameroon said her 2023 roadmap will be to promote Cameroon’s tourism and sensitize young girls against the dangers of breast cancer.
For the 16th edition, Miss Monalisa Mouketey from the South West region emerged as the first runner-up, bagging home the sum of 3 million FCFA while the second-runner-up, Miss Raissa Ngueleu from the West region got 2 million FCFA.
The new Miss Cameroon takes over from Julia Samantha Edima from the South region.
Unlike last year where three candidates threw in the towel citing corruption and unexplainable demands, the Miss cameroon beauty contest 2023 left much to be desired. There is a general agreement that the Miss Cameroon Committee, COMICA, has improved in terms of organisation.
