Miss Cameroon crowns Miss/Mr ICT University
Hossane Ebo and Giovanni Eboko have been crowned Miss and Mister ICT University 2025, respectively, after a fiercely competitive gala event.
The ceremony held on December 22nd, 2024, in Yaounde.
The ceremony was attended by top officials, including Prof. Emmanuel Pondi, Vice Chancellor of the ICT University, and Foe Vanessa, Runner-up of Miss Cameroon 2024.
In a video message, Prof. Victor Mbarika, President of the Board of Trustees and founder of the ICT University, encouraged students to pursue their dreams and never give up on their projects. He assured them that the university administration would support them throughout their studies.
The new Miss ICT University, Hossane Ebo, won over the judges with her project on climate change and environmental pollution, showcasing her commitment to making the university environment pollution-free. She expressed her excitement to take on the role of Miss ICT University 2025, emphasizing her focus on student well-being and positively representing the students’ voice.
The victorious Mr ICT University, Giovanni Eboko, stood out among 9 contestants with his project on fostering entrepreneurship among students. He pledged to support the university’s vision of training job creators, not job seekers, and expressed gratitude for the opportunity.
The ICT University ‘Miss and Mr’ competition highlighted the talents and capabilities of young Cameroonians, demonstrating their potential to contribute to society beyond their physical appearance. As Miss and Mister ICT University 2025, Hossane Ebo and Giovanni Eboko will represent the student body and make their voices heard in various spheres.
The event has set the stage for another exciting competition in 2025, with the Miss and Mr. ICT University competition gaining recognition alongside the prestigious Miss Cameroon competition.
