Mass marriage celebration in Dschang: A call to honor vows

A mass marriage celebration was recently held in Dschang, where 23 couples formalized their unions on the eve of International Women’s Day. Professor Temgoua Emile, First Assistant Mayor of the Dschang Council, emphasized the importance of fidelity, mutual respect, and open communication in building strong relationships. He encouraged the newlyweds to prioritize trust and understanding, values essential for healthy and fulfilling marriages.
Notably, one of the couples who tied the knot was TSAFACK DJOUFACK Junior SINGOR, who married two wives. The other 22 couples also exchanged vows in a joyous ceremony.
The event was a collaborative effort between the Dschang Council and the Delegation of Women Empowerment and the Family, highlighting the significance of gender equality and women’s empowerment in building strong families and communities.
VOMPAM MFOUAPON Danielle, Menoua Divisional Delegate of Women Empowerment and the Family, urged the couples to uphold their marriage vows and emphasized the importance of respect and mutual love in maintaining healthy homes.
