Littoral welcomes new regional delegate
The minister of secondary education Professor Pauline Nalova Lyonga has expressed her wish to see public secondary schools in the Littoral region occupy important places in upcoming classifications of results by the Baccalaureat Board (OBC).
Working towards achieving this goal, she has appointed Eboa Thamar Ndengue, former principal of GBHS Bepanda in the Douala V sub division as new regional delegate. According to the minister, the institution has in recent years been in top three classification of best public secondary schools in Cameroon thanks to the invaluable contribution of Eboa Thamar. An achievement the new delegate attributes to hardwork and discipline. “Teachers, and students must work together and that is what we have been doing to ensure the success of our school” she adds.
Eboa Thamar who served as principal of GBHS NewBell in the Douala II district, now has to work towards a better performance of schools in the entire Littoral region. Members of the education community had been complaining of a drop in performance of students in public schools in the region, especially in Douala.
She takes over from Edjang Njenji Guillaume who had been on sit since 2018.
