Tenor victim of domestic violence?

A video of Cameroonian rapper Tenor in a physical fight with fiancee and Ivorian comedian Eunice Zunon has surfaced online and has left many with several questions.

In the video, Eunice can be seen keeping Tenor in a choke hold and Tenor later throws her to the floor after several attempts to free his neck in vain.

A few hours after the shocking images went viral, the artist’s manager reveals Tenor has several times been abused by Eunice. The abuse reported is both physical and verbal and this, according to the manager, started way before their engagement.

“Tenor decided to end their relationship in 2021 because of her possessive attitude. She is jealous of every woman who comes near him” says Isidore Tameu, Tenor’s manager.

Torn clothes, threats and physical attacks are said to have multiplied after the accident the artist was involved in and in which 21-year-old Erika Mouliom died in July 2021. After reportedly engaging in a fight at the hospital with a woman who was acting as a caregiver to Tenor, Eunice is said to have repeatedly told Tenor that it is thanks to her that fans quickly forgae him for drunk-driving and causing a loss of life. Going by the artist’s manager, Eunice, has vowed to ruin Tenor if he does not marry her.

The video widely condemned by many was reportedly taken three weeks ago while the couple was in Europe. It is thanks to this video evidence that Tenor was freed from a detention after Eunice reportedly called the Police on him.

“The video you all see is just part of what happened. Eunice after provoking Tenor, took off her wig and jewelry, called the police and accused Tenor of physical violence. When the police came, she was crying but once they saw the video, they decided Tenor was not wrong.”

Tenor’s manager has however expressed fears over the future of his artist as his fiancée has promised him hell. With a tour planned in Cote d’Ivoire in the weeks ahead, tenor’s team believes that Eunice will do all to sabotage the event.
