LAVANET driver accused of practicing witchcraft

A driver working with the National Veterinary Laboratory in Garoua, north region of Cameroon, has been asked to give explanations for some happenings around the company.

In a request for explanation letter, the Director of LAVANET, Dr Wade Abel, asked his driver to explain why on October 31, 2023, a Bat, he described as mysterious was found in his office.

Subsequently, on November 2, 2023, blood was found at the entrance of the main administrative hall, and the next day, eggs were seen on the floor, broken.

The director accused his driver, Djamaloud Dini, of carrying out the acts, because, “You are always seated at the spots where the objects were discovered”
