Lab results show Nourishka skin bleaching drinks safe
The tests carried out at Hydrocarbons Analysis Controls(HYDRAC) upon instructions from the Minister of public health, have shown that the skin bleaching drinks are safe for human consumption.
In its August 26th report, the laboratory has validated the microbiological elements used in the Nourishka skin bleaching drinks stating it respects norms and is thus good for human consumption. Tests were conducted on weight loss drinks, glutathione and collagen which all turned good.
The results have been widely criticized by some medics who say HYDRAC is not in capacity to analyse dietary supplements in Cameroon and only LANACOME has the capacity to do that. The commercialisation of these skin bleaching drinks had been suspended by Dr Manaouda Malachie on August 10 following a controversial report on France24, pending positive lab results.
