Indomitable Lion Gael Ondoa is alive despite Turkish Airline near crash in Douala
Indomitable lion Gael Ondoa has taken to his official Facebook page this May 27 to thank God for a safe landing despite a near plane crash with Turkish airlines.
The midfielder says the plane caught fire mid-air but thanks to the calmness and professionalism of the cabin crew, they safely crash landed at the Douala International airport.
No official statement has been made by the airline to ascertain this or explain what happened yet.
Gael Ondoa is a midfielder at the Hannover football club in the German professional league. He is also part of the 23 players called up by indomitable lions’ head coach Rigobert Song to take part in the Cameroon-Burundi game counting as day one of the 2023 African Cup of Nations eliminatories.
The players go to camp this May 29 and the encounter is scheduled for June 9.
