Guibai Gatama says Celine Eko should take over FECAFOOT

Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT is in the midst of several competitions at the moment but this has in no way slowed down internal battles at the federation.

Executive committee member Guibai Gatama in a recent communication has called on first vice president Celine Eko to take over the presidency of the federation which he considers vacant at the moment. This, he explains, is due to Samuel Eto’o Fils’ recent condemnation for tax fraud.

He reminds Celine Eko of articles 36 and 47 which regulate the running of the federation in which it is stipulated that court sentences which go above 3 months automatically disqualify a president in office.

The first vice president hs not responded to Guibai. This letter is being made public at a time when Samuel Eto’o is busy with the women’s team present in Morocco for the Africa women’s cup of nations and also in Qatar to ensure that the men’s team is comfortable during the upcoming FIFA world cup.
