Government modernizes revenue collection system with the introduction of tresor-pay platform
Long queues and payment delays of non-tax services according to the Government of Cameroon through its finance ministry, will henceforth be avoided in the payment of non-tax revenues thanks to the treasure-pay platform that was unveiled and popularized on Monday, August 7, 2023, in Bangou, Upper Plateaux Division of the West Region.
The new digital platform available via the link www.tresorpublic.cm will enable public services to be paid electronically in order to optimize revenue mobilization.
TRESOR PAY application not only allows one to pay online for a series of non-tax services
in order to trace and secure them but also to collect receipts, dematerialize and secure service receipts.
“The reform will make it possible to streamline our relations to maintain a mutually winning level of performance and to increase the banking level of the national economy,” Finance Minister, Luis Paul Motaze said.
“This platform was put in place in a context marked by the government’s willingness to modernize payments of public services,” he added.
Users can access the platform and click on the admiration where they want their payments to be made, enter personal details, and select the method of payment. A validation code will then be made available to confirm the transaction.
This payment method online is either through mobile payments, CAMPOST, or credit cards and is secured according to officials at the Ministry of Finance.
