Four bar owners abducted by Ambazonia fighters in Kumbo
Sources from Kumbo said on Friday, August 12, 2022, the separatist fighters came from a place called Kikaikom. They stormed the town on motorbikes and automatic rifles, then forcefully abducted four Bar operators and took them in the direction of the Mbveh Market.
The reason for their abduction is not yet known even though pundits are suspecting that they are charged with selling products from the brewery company, Les Brasseries Du Cameroun.
“The fighters were very brutal and uncompromising in their approach. The incident left the town in fright as many traders temporally fled for their dear lives.”A witness told CNA.
The next day Saturday 13, 2022, another group of fighters abducted some Bar owners in Mbveh as a retaliation.
“As you may not know, the town is divided between two Separatist factions. The Bui Warriors of former Gen. Chacha and Bui Unity Warriors of Created by Gen No Pity. The town remains tense,” the source hinted.
