Former Ghanaian star to pay child support after divorce

A high court in Accra, Ghana said the former Sunderland player must pay the sum of 25,000 Ghana cedis as child support every month.

The ruling comes after three years of legal battle between Gyan Asamoah and his former wife Gifty Gyan whom the court said had been making non financial contributions as she took care of the baby while Gyan worked.

Gyan had also claimed that the children do not belong to him but he was disproved by a DNA test.
