Former FECAFOOT SG prohibited from leaving Cameroon

Former Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) Secretary General Benjamin Didier Banlock is no longer authorized to leave Cameroon. The information is contained in dispatch signed by the state prosecutor at the Centre region court of appeal.

It is clearly stated that he must remain in Cameroon until the case opposing him to the federation is settled in court.

Benjamin Didier Banlock is accused of mismanagement of funds. This was first made public after FECAFOOT boss Samuel Eto’o Fils said that the office hitherto occupied by the former SG had remained locked for a good while. This was via a summons sent by his lawyers to Mr. Banlock. The former SG on his part accused Eto’o Fils of running the federation like a private business and refusing to listen to other members of the executive.

Benjamin Didier Banlock will remain in Cameroon until a verdict is given.
