Fecafoot: Amateur football association president says stakeholders must dialogue
The former Indomitable Lions midfielder, Geremi Njitap has told reporters that football stakeholders must dialogue to solve the impasse at the federation.
The president of Cameroo Amateur football association who doubles as Vice president of international footballers association, said it is regrettable that CAF and Court of Arbitration for Sports have both extended their tentacles in Cameroon due to multiple petitions.
When you look at CAS decision, we not that everyone has to start from zero…No one can be happy that Cameroon is in this position…stakeholders need to come together and dialogue…we are ready to initiate that,” Geremi said.
CAF had announced that it has opened investigations into allegations of match fixing against the president of Cameroon Football Federation, Samuel Eto’o Fils.
CAS also recently reversed several decisions taken by Eto’o to dismiss clubs and staff.
Cameroon football is divided and the messiah in Eto’o has longer disappeared as those who praised his election are now fighting against him or his decisions.
