A Dschang University student who had been popular on social media for hawking eggs and bread in decent attires has reportedly gone mad at Ange Raphaël, a neighborhood in Douala, Littoral Region. But many think since he rose to prominence and was quickly forgotten, the act is to create buzz and boost his personality.
Sylvain Djeufack is a young Cameroonian who had seduced many people with the decent look he had any time he went out to hawk, and rapidly became famous. He was presented by many celebrities as an example for youths, thus receiving gifts from many of them and he even went on to sign contracts with some renowned companies in the country.
According to some reliable sources including his family, Sylvain’s nightmare began when a Nigerian offered him a sum of money including a ring aimed at protecting him and his business.
The same sources said that Sylvain was later informed of the conditions awaiting him in return. The young man was asked to make love with his mother, a condition he reportedly refused before beginning to show signs of madness.
In a statement read on his official Facebook handle, his management team confirms the mental instability affirming that “Sylvain is undergoing a madness crisis at a garbage disposal site at Ange Raphaël”
“While waiting for an end of the crisis, we suspend all activities concerning Sylvain Djeufack all over the national territory” the statement read.
Some reports said he had been in prayer sessions and the situation improving, but not everyone is buying that story- It is like a Deja Vu.
