Facebook logs accounts out
This was an unprecedented move by the social media company on Tuesday afternoon as all accounts were suddenly logged out.
CNA reporters who use the Meta platform to reach out to our audience first discovered that they were logged out of their accounts.
“At first, we thought that there was an attack on our pages and that someone was trying to have access to our two pages and remove us all from the platform. But When I consulted the Editor-in-Chief, she informed me that other friends had complained that they were logged out of their accounts as well,” CNA’s Executive Editor, Nfor Hanson Nchanji said.
“I have told everyone to remain vigilant and check their accounts later to see if there will be changes”, he added.

On Twitter, several users who discovered the bug said they were also logged out. It remains uncertain what is happening to the Meta platform as millions of Facebook users in Cameroon are seeking answers in the air.
