Emeka Ike recounts how ex-wife made him lose properties, access to kids
Popular Nollywood actor Emeka Ike has narrated how his ex-wife, Suzanne Emma made him lose his properties and access to his kids, Daily Post reports.
According to DAILY POST reports, the actor featured on the Channels Television Programme Rubbin’ Minds, hosted by Hero Daniels stated that his ex-wife’s allegations of incessant battery made him lose properties worth millions of naira.
They recalled that a Lagos Island Customary Court in 2017 dissolved the marriage between Emeka Ike and his wife over the incessant battery.
He was said to have stated in the program why he did not come out to the public since then to clear his name; “I didn’t come on the internet space to clarify the allegations against me because the same people that were bullying me on the internet, were still there. They are going to say. ‘Don’t mind him. He is still missing her. Move on. He was quoted by DAILY POST to have said.
“My secondary school, St. Nicholas College, on CMD road, Magodo, was shut down. Over N480 million in investment that year was shut down. And all I heard was a constant battery. I was like, ‘I don’t beat this lady. What’s going on? Babe, what’s going on? They said I beat you, do I?’ he went ahead to say.
He continued to state; “And she [my ex-wife] said, ‘No.’ So, I was gullible until I discovered that she was actually the one behind this whole thing. Some ladies are too desperate for marriage legally. And she actually told me one time that I am not the marriage type. So, the young men need to know that there are plenty ladies that are not the marriage type lately”.
Their marriage was said to have produced 4 children.
