Douala: Woman found dead in a home

A woman whose identity is yet to be confirmed by officials has been found dead in the Beedi neighborhood of Douala.

According to inhabitants of the area situated behind a school, “Les Dinosaures”, the woman was murdered by her 38-year-old boyfriend. They explain that they were probably having an argument that escalated.

The suspect is said to have used an object to hit her causing her death. They add that after the act, he was trying to leave the neighborhood before a citizen’s arrest was done. The deceased unfortunately had no documents on her which could be used for identification purposes.

The Bonanjo-Douala Judicial Police officials say they are continuing investigations while the suspect remains behind bars.
