Douala: Herbalist found dead in home

A woman known to be a herbalist has been found dead. Jeannette Mouasso, was found hanging on a rope in her house at the Akwa-Nord neighbourhood in Douala on July 25th by her son.

Mouasso’s son who made the discovery and alerted the police, has been called for questioning as he is considered a suspect.

The herbalist in her 50s was according to neighbours, a friendly but quiet person, thus, no one can tell circumstances leading to her death.

Investigations are ongoing to shed more light this strange death.
