Dibombari: accused woman stabber in gendarmerie custody

A man has been thrown behind bars in the Dibombari Gendarmerie brigade in the Moungo Division of the Littoral region for allegedly stabbing his former fiancée leaving her in a critical state in the hospital.

According to the man whose name we could not get, he did not stab the ex-fiancée deliberately:

” It was merely an accident. It wasn’t deliberate” he said.

Going by the man’s confession the incident resulted from a conflict between him and his ex fiancee’s new fiance at a drinking spot:

“I was going to repair my motorcycle when I saw both of them drinking in a bar. I decided to approach my ex asking her about our children. Her new fiance began throwing insults at me. In retaliation I pulled out a knife to threaten the man. My ex dashed on me not to hurt her new fiance but the knife accidentally injured her” he narrates.

An explanation that was not strong enough to convince the forces of law and order who threw him behind bars. The woman in question is currently undergoing intense medical care in a health facility in Dibombari.

In the same gendarmerie brigade are detained three individuals accused of giving sleepless nights to the population of Dibombari.

The three, baptized by the population as notorious allegedly burgled into homes, shops, attacked people and threatened their lives.

During their presentation to the public recently, locals identified them as promoters of cannabis consumption in Dibombari.

Security forces have continue calling on the population to cooperate with them in order to rid the society of criminals.
