DGSN intel says projected attacks in five regions by foreigners

A document purported from the General Delegation for National Security, DGSN, has revealed that there the five regions could be targets in many defense and security posts in the Centre, Littoral, North West, West and South West regions.

In a fax message addressed to the West regional delegate for national security, the intelligence department of the General Delegation for National security (DGSN) said there are planned attacks on defense and security posts in the above-mentioned regions that have been detected. The document further states that the foreign sponsors have paid to the tune of FCFA 250 million.

We further learn from the message that the terrorists will be dressed in fake defense and security uniforms, and will create fake control posts along the axis of the regions before carrying on their attacks.

The Regional Delegation for National Security of the West region has been warned and called upon to take urgent and necessary security measures to counter the planned attacks and render account as soon as possible, the fax message indicated.
