Deputy to commissioner arrested for drug trafficking

The news shocked many across the country. A senior member of the Police force involved in a case of drug trafficking.

A Police Officer whose name CNA got as Maina and who is the second deputy to the Kousseri commissioner was arrested in Ndjamena, Chad. He had crossed over allegedly to conclude drug trafficking businesses when he was arrested by the Chadian forces of law and order. This was last July 30th.

Officer Maina is detained in the Ndjamena central police unit as investigations go on.
