Davido pledges over USD 180,000 to Nigerian orphanages

Nigerian music superstar David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido has taken to his Insagram handle to announce that he will donate the equivalent of USD 188,000 to charity in Nigeria.

He said this wil be his yearly contribution to the Nigerian country and will be done through his charity organisation – Adeleke Foundation.

The detais of what orphanages will benefit from this donation are yet to be made public.

The pledge was made this Tuesday, February 20.

The Adeleke Foundation was reated back in 2022 and in 2023 Davido announced that they had donated over USD 125,000 to orphanages and this information had been shared on Twiitter.
