Cosmetic measures? Ethics committee opens investigation against Fecafoot president after CAF communique

The decision to open an investigation against Fecafoot president, Samuel Eto’o Fils came two days after CAF said it was investigating abnormal behaviour by the President of Cameroon Football Federation.

Fecafoot Executive Committee frowned at CAF statement and asked the African Football Federation to remove them from all its platforms.

At the same time, the Ethics Committee of Fecafoot summoned one of the principal complainants, the owner of Njalla Quan Sports Academy, Henry Njalla Quan jr to attend a meeting on August 17, 2023, in Yaounde.

This comes one month after the complainant had deposited a letter that contained allegations against Eto’o’s management style.

However, this same Njalla Quan had been banned from all football activities for 10 years by Fecafoot, all his letter since June 2023, has never received a feedback until when CAF said it has opened investigations into alleged abnormal behaviour against the former Indomitable Lion’s captain.
