Coq Sportif threatens FECAFOOT will lawsuit

French kit supplier Le Coq Sportif has threatened the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT, with a lawsuit.

This comes after the federation via a communique declared that they were putting an end to the supplier’s contract for failure to respect certain clauses.

Le Coq Sportif has sent out to a letter to the federation warning them of what is coming their way. In it, they say that they have attempted to talk with FECAFOOT officials and even president Samuel Eto’o Fils in order to solve the issue amicably but have been met with stiff resistance.

In this letter, the kit supplier says they have in no way failed to respect the terms of their contract and are currently preparing new kits for the indomitbale lions ahead of the FIFA world cup. Le Coq Sportif adds that they will be filing a complaint in court against FECAFOOT if they do not cease all negotiations with a new supplier. They further threaten to sue any equipment supplier who will agree to work with the federation.

Samuel Eto’o Fils and his team are yet to respond.
