Cameroon Cup 2022 Final

The 2022 sports season in Cameroon ends on Sunday October 2nd with the Cameroon Football Cup final which will oppose Bamboutos FC of Mbouda to Coton Sports of Garoua.

In prelude to that the minister of sports and physical education Narcisse Mouelle Kombi last Tuesday held a second preparatory meeting with stakeholders in the sports sector at the conference hall of his ministerial department in Yaoundé.

Handball : Women’s Africa Cup of Nations

Handball Lionesses played a draw game against host Senegal this September 28. It was a group game ahead of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations to take place in DAKAR.

The competition that runs from November 9-19 will be its 25th edition and will gather 13 teams drawn in two groups of 4 teams and a group of 5 teams.

The Lionesses are vice African champions and will face Senegal, Madagascar and Côte d’Ivoire in the group stage.

The finalists of the competition will automatically qualify for the World Women’s Championship 2023 that will be jointly hosted by Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

Volleyball: Women’s World Championship

Volleyball lionesses will at 8pm this Thursday September 29 face Puerto Rico in their 4th outing of the ongoing World Championship taking place in the Netherlands and Poland.

The African Champions are yet to record a victory at the tournament after they lost their third game last Tuesday by 0 set to 3 against vice champions of Africa, Kenya. The Lionesses need a win this evening to rekindle hopes of qualifying for the next round.
