Road to Qatar 2022
The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon are in Seoul, South Korea ahead of their double confrontation against Uzbekistan and South Korea.
The games are to better prepare the squad for the 2022 FIFA World cup to be played in Qatar. The Lion’s first warm-up game will be this September 23rd at 7 AM local time and 3pm South Korean time and will oppose them to Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan is ranked 77th by FIFA, and has never been at a World Cup. The Uzbeks’ best performance came when they finished 4th in the 2011 Asian Cup. Their largest win is a 15-0 recorded against Mongolia in 1998, while they suffered their biggest defeat (8-1) when they faced Japan in 2002. Their star man is AS Roma attacker Eldor Shomurodov.
In the Lion’s den is FECAFOOT President Samuel Eto’o Fils and the Lions’ Ambassador Patrick Mboma.

Coton Sports of Garoua VS PWD of Bamenda
The New football season opens in Cameroon on October 12 2022 with the first edition of the Super cup dubbed “The champions’ trophy.”
The trophy will be between the league and cup winners.
As informed in a correspondence addressed by the Secretary General of FECAFOOT to the Presidents of Coton Sports of Garoua and PWD of Bamenda, this first edition will be played at the Bafoussam Omnisports Stadium as from 6pm.
