MTN Elite One Championship

YOSA grabbed their first three points of the season in their 5th outing of the league one championship on Sunday. They signed their first victory of the season against AS FORTUNA 2-1 at the Mbouda Arena Stadium.

At half time of the game, the boys of Amunewa Franklin were already leading 2-0 thanks to goals from team captain Tegemo Emmanuel and Nael Dindjeke. The visitors in the second half reduced scored.

YOSA are now ranked 6th in group B with 5 points in 5 games.

The group is still being led by Bamboutos FC of Mbouda with 12 points.

PWD Social Club of Bamenda after enjoying their first victory on day 4, again resumed losing habits as the team was again beaten 1-0 by Avion. With only 3 points harvested in four games, the 2021 Cameroon Cup winners are now among the last two of Group A. Let’s recall that the management of the team sacked coach Nkabyo Martin after recording two straight losses.

The championship began on Saturday November 5th in Bertoua with Stade de Bertoua defeating AS Lausanne 2-1 at the Bertoua Municipal Stadium.

Victoria United alias Opopo recorded a perfect start by defeating Unisport 1-0. Foncha Street of Bamenda on their part recorded an away victory 1-0 over AS FAP. Bafut Rangers with a 2-2 draw against TKC, managed to grab a point.

Two other matches to complete day one fixtures will be played on Tuesday, November 8.

FECAFOOT president Samuel Eto’o Fils has officially unveiled the home and away kits to be used by the indomitable lions of Cameroon during the 2022 FIFA World cup in Qatar.

The kits are produced by One All Sports and were distributed by Edimo and Bee at the Douala Grand Mall last Saturday November 5th. The indomitable lions of Cameroon will appear in their new kits for the first time on Wednesday November 9 when they face Jamaica in their last home friendly game.

Handball : 25th Senior Women’s Africa Cup of Nations

The indomitable lionesses of Cameroon, African vice champions are leaving the country this Monday November 7 through the Yaounde Nsimalen international Airport for Senegal where the competition will take place from November 9-19.

The girls of Christian Guebogo are in group C of the tournament alongside host Senegal, Ivory Coast and Madagascar.

The Rugby lionesses of Cameroon on Friday November 4 defeated Cote d’Ivoire 8-0 at the Olembe stadium.

The match was their opener for the qualifiers of the Rugby Africa Women’s cup 2023.

Their next game will be against Burkina Faso on Saturday November 12
