The Intermediate Lions of Cameroon have qualified for the 7th edition of the Africa Nations Championship to be played in Algeria as from January 13 to February 4 2023 in Algeria.
The boys of Alioum Saidou grabbed their ticket on September 4th 2022 at the Roumde Adja Stadium in Garoua, after beating Equatorial Guinea 2 nil thanks to goals from Kaiba Djawal (43′) and Souaibou (46′).
The lions before Sunday’s encounter were a goal down.

They were trashed by title holders Nigeria 1 set to 3. This is their second defeat in a row after they lost their opener to Tunisia last Saturday 1 set to 3.
They face Sudan this September 5th from 12pm for their third and last group game.
VOLLEYBALL 🏐 U21 LADIES AFCON
The under 21 volleyball lionesses have finished third at the just ended Africa Cup of Nations in Tunisia. They defeated Morocco 3 sets to 0 on September 4th to take bronze.
In 5 games the girls of Carole Ambatta have successfully won 3.
