CHAN 2023 Qualifiers: Intermediate Lions in Danger
The Intermediate lions of Cameroon are back in the country after a difficult weekend spent in Malabo.
They suffered a 0-1 defeat to Equatorial Guinea in a game counting for the away leg playoff of the Africa Nations Championship.
The boys of Alioum Saidou are expected to resume training this august 31st ahead of the return leg to be played on September 4th in Garoua.
The lions will need a win on aggregate in order to grab their qualification ticket for the group stage of the competition to be played in Algeria next year.
Road to Qatar 2022
The World Cup trophy to be disputed by 32 Nations in Qatar this year will be in Cameroon on September 8-9, 2022.
The trophy made of Gold 🥇 that measures 36.8cm and weighs 6.175kg is since May 12 this year touring qualified nations.
The competition begins on November 11th and the Indomitable Lions are in group G alongside Brazil, Serbia and Switzerland.
