CNA Sports, North West clubs fight relegation, Lions on a revenge mission to South Africa

PWD and Yong Sports Academy (YOSA) on Sunday March 26, recorded draws at the Mbouda Arena Stadium on their day 18 outings of the league one championship.
PWD Social Club of Bamenda in Sunday’s first game at the Mbouda Arena Stadium, played a sorrowful 1-1 draw with Djiko FC of Bandjoun that maintains them in the relegation zone with 17 points. The Abakwa boys, with 5 games left, are ranked 10th in group A of the championship.
YOSA on their part had their playoff objective changed after playing a 2-2 draw with newcomers Gazelle FC of Garoua. The team, ranked 9th in group B with 18 points and just 3 games left, is also threatened by the red zone.
Group B leaders Bamboutos FC of Mbouda maintained their lead by beating Fauve Azur 2-0 at the Ngoa-Ekelle stadium in Yaounde thanks to a brace from Junior Kemadjou.

AFRICAN CUP OF NATIONS QUALIFIERS 2023
The Indomitable Lions are in South Africa ahead of their day 4 game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Namibia scheduled for Tuesday March 28th in Soweto. The match will be played at 2pm.
The Indomitable Lions played a 1-1 draw against the Brave Warriors last Friday March 24th at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde. The boys of Rigobert Song still lead group C with 4 points followed by Namibia with 2 points.
Under 23 AFCON qualifiers
The Under 23 Football lions of Cameroon have lost the away leg game of their double confrontation against Gabon 0 goal to 1. The match was played on Saturday March 25th in Franceville, Gabon.
The return leg has been scheduled for Tuesday March 28th at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium as from 4pm.
Basketball : 2023 AFROCAN QUALIFIERS
The Indomptable Lions of Cameroon have qualified for the 2023 AFROCAN tournament that will be played in Angola from July 7-16, 2023. They grabbed their qualification ticket after winning all their four games at the zone 4 qualifiers tournament that took place at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex from March 19th to 25th.
The AFROCAN tournament is meant for players based on the African continent.
